3DS Max Tutorial - Modeling 3D Water bottle in 3DS Max

This tutorial have been created by Guillaume Riviere ( ) all rigths reserved.
This tutorial explain how to modelize a bottle of water with surface.
So you ll do that:

Part 1: Modeling

1.Create a square convert it to Edit Spline and divide segment by 1:

2.Move out these vertex as this:

3.Convert all the vertex into to smooth(right click and select smooth in the menu):

4.Copied the spline 3 times on the Z axe.
(Select the spline and move it in Z axe + shift):

5.Copied one more time and resize it(Shift + scale tool).
That way we will do the bottom of the bottle.
Move the vertex to round more the bottle.

 6.Redo it two times:

7.Move these round splines on Z to create the hole:

8.Activate the 3d snap and right click it and select vertex check box
By using the create line from geometry panel:

9.Copied the upper spline 2 times in Z axe. Resize as this the firstcopy.
Link all the vertex with create line:

 10.Select thewse segments as this.
Copied these segments one time. To the question weld vertex answer no.
 Redo the steps 6 times:

11.Do a 8th groove smaller: copied the upper spline 2 times and
leave less space between the splines.
Resize the first copy with uniform scale.
Link the vertex with create line.:

12.To create the upper part of the bottle:
do as the bottom by copied 3 times the spline.
Resize each times and move in Z:

13.To create the neck: Do a copy of the last spline and round it by moving the vertex:

14.Here the details of the upper part of the neck:
Do this part by making a copy of the middle spline of the neck and by resizing it.
Copied the 2 splines in Z by leaving less space.
When all the upper spline are rightly placed link them by using create line:

15.When the spline cage is done, apply a surface modifier.
you obtain a bottle rightly modelized:

16.Do the stopper: with a cylinder for the little bump a second cylinder.
Do a bevel to make the rounded part:

You can use these images to texturized the bottle:

 Stopper diffuse:

 Stopper Bump:

 Side stopper Bump:

 The water bottle stickers:

 So the final:
